Casey and I rented motorbikes and had them for 24 hours.  We decided to take them out at 11:30 at night and for a ride since nobody would be on the streets.  I brought my camera and tripod to try a few shots with the moon light.  The first photo is a 30 second exposure, shwoing a few stars and blurry clouds as they moved across the sky during the shot.  

The next morning Casey and I took the motorbikes out again before we had to return them.  We found a really cool looking rice field with some amazing cloud formations behind it so we stopped to take some photos.  It actually reminded me of rice fields in Sapa Vietnam.  The scenery is very beautiful in Pai

Casey and I took a bus ride up to Pai Thailand on the 23rd of September.  It was a three hour trip through windy mountains roads.  The driver said to us before we left Chiang Mai, "just tell me if you need me to pull over if you think your going to get sick"  It is very common for people to get car sick on this drive.  We actually did have to pull over for a guy on our bus who got sick.  I even started to feel a little sick at one point but luckily I made it through.  Pai is a small town about 50 miles from Chiang Mai and close to the boarder of Burma.  It is a relaxed town with a lot of tourist and backpackers.  The street food is amazing.  You can find pretty much anything from the street venders.  Casey and I rented motorbikes on our third day and went out to see a water fall we had been told about.  We both brought our cameras and took a few shots.  We also stopped for a break and found a nice spot that overlooked a field.

These shots were taken when Casey and I rode motorbikes up to the temple.  We stopped a few times to take photos of the city.  It was a really nice and relaxed ride.  The weather was beautiful and the scenery made for some good photos.  

Casey and I went to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai.  It was about a 30 minute ride on a motorbike up a mountain.  It was a really beautiful ride with views that overlooked the whole city.  The temple was amazing.  It started to rain and I only got a few shots of the temple.  

Casey and I went to Lao and I actually didn't even get my camera out.  Not that Lao was bad in any way but we were just relaxing the whole time and I never thought to get it out.  We had an amazing time in Lao, especially in Don Det and Vang Vieng.  We took a flight from Luang Prabang to Chiang Mai Thailand on the 14 of September.  We stayed in Chiang Mai for about a week and now we are in Pai.  Pai is very relaxed and a great place to rent motorbikes.  I have gotten some decent photos since being in Thailand so I figured it was about time I uploaded them.  

One of our first tops in Chiang Mai was Tiger Kingdom.  We saw the smallest or youngest ones you were allowed to see as well as the big cats.  The small ones were really fun to play with.  One climbed on me and kept trying to play with my camera strap and wrist bands.

No. He isn't trying to bite.  It is just another shot of him yawning .  I wish I was more ready for this one.  I didn't get his lower jaw in the shot and his front teeth are out of focus.  

Most of the big cats were laying down or sleeping.  

Some people say the big cats are drugged but the trainers will always say they are not.  Im not really sure, as some of the big tigers were up and moving and playing with each other but most of them were laying down or sleeping.

They allowed us to lay on the tigers but not get in front of them.  

This was when the little one was climbing on me.  They are very strong for how young they are.

I really liked this shot of a big tiger.  This is definitely the closest I have been to a full grown bengal tiger .

Casey and I spend part of a day in Siem Reap to go see the floating village.  It was amazing to see so many people living like this.

Here are more photos of the temples.  It was very cool to be able to see the Angkor temples and spend a good three days exploring a lot of them.  They are all over Siem Reap and are truly amazing.  They are so large and there are so many of them.  The only thing that would have made it better was if there was less tourists.
